Planer/Plans
Tyvärr är väll det sant. Är inte så effektiv/produktiv, men har fått lite mer "lektioner" så ska försöka få klart "21st" en gång för alla och bli klar med texten. Finns några saker i den som jag ska ta o ändra på, tillexempel längden på den del av refrängen där det kommer sjungas lite ^^
Jag beskrev låten för Martin häromdagen... "Hjärndöd musik" ^^
Feels like I'm having all this LOTS of plans that I ain't doing shit with ^^ ...
The sad thing is that it's true. Ain't that effektive/productive, but had some "lessons" for the guitars and gotten really good critic for my playing :D I will try and get "21st" done once and for all and get the damn lyric done. Some things in the song I will change for example the chorus ... The slower part in the chorus where there actually will be some singing :D

Färdigskriven/Finally written
Har försökt spelat in låten en gång, för några veckor sedan med min kompis Martin (producent, engineerer) och det gick inte sådär, jättebra faktiskt. Jag kunde låten, men tyvärr hade jag inte räknat med takten ^^ Så det sket sejj, vi arbetade på ett och samma riff i fyra timmer och föärsökte sätta takten rätt. Kom nära, men näe :/
First song ("21st Century Mummy") has the music more or less finally written now, except for the bass line for the verse, but I'll get that later - in the last minute, because I know hiow it will go. Otherwise it's OK.
Then a couple of weeks ago we tried to record the song. me and my friend Martin (who produced and engineered) and it went kindof bad. I knew the song, no question about that, but what I've stuppid enough, hadn't planned on was the beat. Hadn't planned or trained on any beat at all, so the song was done, but it had no bea, so we had to do that on spot and it took four hours to get the this done, and still it wasnät done - and it was just the verse riff we worked on ^^ But we got kindof close anyway :)
Annars så ska jag som sagt spela in den på nytt... Och då ska jag få låna ett trumset av min systers pojkvän, vilket är riktigt schysst. Så då kommer jag få träna/skriva litegranna på trummor först i någon dag innan jag faktiskt början spela in ^^
Anyway, gonna try an record it yet again, this time I'm gonna produce myself, and not have that high expentations on it - although it's just an demo so... fuck that. And I've got word that I'm to be practising and recording on a drumset owned by my sister's boyfriend so that gionna be really fun :)
Nya Ideér/New Ideas
Well, not I'm sitting here listening to the song "In Your Face" by Children of Bodom and it's really good. :) Like the guitar in the beginning really much. An awesome riff :D Anyway, got this idea how to inprove "21st Century Mummy" to it's better, even thou it's the greatest song even written ;) Their's this part after the verse (or if I only use it in one of the verses) where I play the high/thin strings - and then this idea about using finger picking came up and I thought ''That would be pretty f**king awesome'', but then instead of playing all strings which I wrote it, I have to play max two strings a time.
Snart dags/Soon time
Jag har, mer eller mindre, fixat "tid" för inspelning av åtminståne en låt, men jag har en låt i hjärnan och en låt som jag har några småideér till :)
så tre låtar kanske blir inspelade i sommar, men åtminståne en och kanske en till om jag blir klar med den...
I have, more or less, "booked time" to record atleast one song, but it may become up around three songs. I have one kindof 100% written, one I know how it will be like and one that I have some kind of ideas for. :)
So I might record three songs to put out to the public. But I'm sure of one, pretty convinced that I can get one more written and some ideas for a third.
Den första är den omtalade "21st Century Mummy" och den är mer eller mindre klar, förutom trummor och sång - fast sången vet jag redan vad konceptet ska vara och refrängen är mer elelr mindre redan skriven.
Men trummorna kan bli det knepiga, då jag inte har tillgång till trummor personligen, men vet ett ställe där jag kanske kan få sitta ner några dagar och skriva trummorna till låten.
The first one is the only known song, done so far, and it's called "21st Century Mummy" and it's more or less allready done except for drums and lyrics - althou the lyrics have closely written itself, but can'ät be sure until I have the complete music. But the concept is done.
The drumns on the other hand is a little bit more tricky because I aion't got access to any drum kit myself personally, so I can't really sit down and write anything. But I might know a few places where I maybe can borrow for a few days and rehearse/write the song.
Sedan har jag en ide om en death/doom-metal sång som går under namnet "Satan's Inlove" och ja, namnet säger vad den handlar om. Musiken, som jag tänker på att det kommer låta, är inspirerad av doom-artisten Candlemass, fast med mer hyperaktiv trum-spel. Och förmodligen kommer den, till skillnad från "21st" att använda distade gitarrer.
Then I have the second song I been thinking about, which is a death/doom-metal song that goes under the working name "Satan's Inlove" and it's pretty obvious what's it about.The music, as I been thinking, is highly inspired by Swedish doom-metal band Candlemass, but except for the gitarrs that is going to be really slow, the drums gonna be more hyperaktive. And probably, apart from the song "21st" the guitars for this is going to be highly distorted.
Annars har jag en idé om att använda dubningar på gitarren till "21st" så att det ligger ett gitarr track i backgrunden och är svagt distad. Tror det kan bli riktigt coolt, så ska experimentera lite med det senare. Annars kommer gitarren i den låten vara vara clean, medan basen ska vara distad.
Then, I have an idea about doing dubs for "21st" and use a slightly distorted gitarr in the background. Think that can be reaslly great, so I'm gonna experiment some with it. But the guitars will be ruled by clean sound - and the bass-guitar will be distorted.
Nästan klar/Allmost done
Allmost done with th first song "21st Century Mummy. Has an introduction, verse, pre-chorus and chorus more or less. Jonas (http://www.myspace.com/agrenswe), a friend of mine, are going to write an guitar solo for it. Gonna rock so hard! From what I written this far it feels like an mixture between pop and metal, which is kindof cool - but not even close to what I was aiming at. But hey, what should u do, when u can't play any better. I will be better with time, and then I'll write the death metal I wanna play.
Men har bryggan att skriva (om jag bestämmer mej för att ha någon dvs.) Sedan ska jag ta och skriva text när all musik är klar, ok, inte all - solot kommer nog ta ett tag att skriva. Och sedan ska jag göra versen lite längre, kanske dra ut på riffen och inte göra dom så j*kla tighta. Sen ska jag också använda minst två verser, men jag vill inte att alla verser ska vara likadanna - musikaliskt såsom textbaserat så dom kommer skilja sej åt på vissa saker, t.ex. olika ackord.
But I pretty much has a bridge to write (if I decides to have any). And after the music's all compost I have lyrics to write - or well, not all musics done - the solo will take a while. And then I will expand the verse from what it is today. It ain't perfect, to short - probably stretch them out so it's ongoing chords and not one chord that takes it race and then stopps pronto. I should also have two or three verses, but noone of these verses will be the same musical or lyrical. They will have some changes - not any big ones but tiny changes - like some chords here and there.
Skriver musik/Writing Musik
Are writing new material when I work with the instruments that I have to work with, which becomes often and more often now - actually a great thing, while I doesn't actually works on it that much.
Har börjar skriva lite gitarr riff och bas slingor än. Ska införskaffa mej ett programmeringsprogram när jag är hemma under lovet nu v. 15 och då ska jag börja med trummor och efter det kan jag komma igång mera med att göra musik, för då har jag grunden klar för mej.
Has started out writing some guitar riffs and bass lines atm. Shall get hold on drumprogramming (for the computer) while being home for the easter holiday at week 15 and then I can really start writing songs, while I'm having drums/foundation for the songs that I'm writing.
Så nu ska jag då hem i en vecka och det betydder att jag kommer träffa gitarristen/programmeraren Martin [http://locrian.blogg.se] och min kära systen keyboardisten/bassisten Veronica [http://veronicahogberg.blogg.se] och få lite hjälp och lite träning i dom olika instrumenten. Då jag är nybörjare är det skönt att ha vänner som kan sina instrument.
I'm going home for a weel and that means I'll get to meet my two friends the grunge guitarrist/house music-programmer Martin [http://locrian.blogg.se] and my keyboard/bass guitar playing sister Veronica [veronicahogberg.blogg.se] and get alittle help on the way of become greater at the instruments, as I sees myself just as a rookie yet. And as a rookie, it's great to have friends that actually knows alot about playiong, and then I can get great advises.
